Get your tastebuds at the ready! Starting with the Hurricanes v Kings match on Good Friday we are rolling out a new food menu available in the public harbourside Mezzanine Lounge (opposite Aisle 25).
The new options have all been designed with the sports fan in mind, offering tasty, easy to eat dishes including nachos with chilli mince*, a spicy jalapeno dog, wedges with grilled bacon, grated cheese, spring onion & sour cream*, a tasty Moroccan lamb burger with feta and tzatiki and melt-in-your mouth corn nuggets (*vegetarian options are also available).
Spotless Catering Executive Chef Steve Morris has worked to refine the menu, taking into account patron feedback and developing a new range of dishes that fans will love.
Westpac Stadium CEO Shane Harmon is a fan of the new menu options. “Steve Morris has designed some great dishes for fans to enjoy at the game. We believe these new items will quickly become fan favourites. They are full of flavour, easy to hold and of top quality.
This new menu gives fans more reason to head along to the Mezzanine Lounge on the Eastern side of the Stadium for a pre-game or half-time snack.”
All of the new items are priced at $10 or less.
The items will be additional to the regular Concourse food options including fan favourites: hot chips, battered hotdogs, beef burger, Fritz's Wieners and the traditional-style Tarakihi and chips.
MEZZANINE LOUNGE MENU
Corn chips with chilli mince served with grated cheese & sour cream (Vegetarian option available on request).
German frankfurter with spicy jalapeno & tomato salsa topped with grated cheese.
Wedges topped with grilled bacon, grated cheese, spring onion and sour cream (Vegetarian option available on request).
Moroccan lamb patty with red onion, lettuce, tomato, crumbled feta and tzatziki.
12 bite sized, easy to share, corn nuggets served with aioli dressing.
