BLACKCAPS and WHITE FERNS to play their three games at Sky Stadium over the next five days

New Zealand Cricket announced on Monday that the three remaining double header fixtures between the BLACKCAPS and Australia and WHITE FERNS and England will now all be played at Sky Stadium in Wellington.

The games on Wednesday 3 and Friday 5 March will be played behind closed doors. You can follow these games live on Spark Sport.

The order of Sunday’s T20I double-header at Wellington’s Sky Stadium has been reversed, with the BLACKCAPS now playing Australia in the early game, and the WHITE FERNS and England squaring off later in the afternoon.

The decision follows discussions between New Zealand Cricket and Cricket Australia and will allow the Australia squad to catch a charter flight home immediately after the game - and avoid having to transit through Auckland.

The BLACKCAPS will now play Australia at noon in the Sunday double-header, while the WHITE FERNS-England match will begin at 4pm.

Should Wellington’s Alert Level status be relaxed ahead of Sunday’s double-header, a crowd will be allowed inside the venue. It may be Friday afternoon before we know more information about any changes to alert levels.
